requirements to ensure smooth entry and adherence to Brunei’s regulations.
Travel Medical Insurance and COVID-19 Requirements

Travel Medical Insurance: Foreign nationals are no longer required to possess travel medical insurance with COVID-19 coverage.

COVID-19 Vaccination: Complete COVID-19 vaccination is no longer a requirement for entry or exit in Brunei Darussalam
E-Arrival Card

E-Arrival Card is a portal for electronic registration of foreign nationals arriving or departing to/from Brunei Darussalam to replace the previous form of filling out the registration of arrival or departure to/from Brunei Darussalam using physical paper which is commonly known as Form 19.

Health Declaration Form
All travellers arriving in Brunei must use the ‘Bruhealth’ application to complete the Health Declaration Form upon arrival.

The ‘Bruhealth’ app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

Public Transportation
Conventional taxis and buses are the most common public transportation.

However, local online transportation, such as DART, is also available. You can download it from Google Play or the App Store.

Currency
The unit of currency in Brunei Darussalam is Brunei Dollar
(BND). Singapore Dollar is interchangeable and is used as customary tender in both countries. Licensed Money Changers
are available at Arrival Halls, Brunei International Airport.
Smoking & Alcohol
Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed public and work places in Brunei. Other non-smoking areas include sidewalks near business premises and within a six-meter radius of smoke-free buildings, as well as all means of public transport.

Non-Muslim passengers over the age of 17 may bring two bottles of liquor equivalent to two liters and 12 cans of beer for personal consumption. They must declare this to customs upon arrival.

Electricity
Standard electrical voltage in Brunei Darussalam is 240 Volts at 50 Herts. Most sockets are the ‘Type G British BS-1363’.
